Snowy is a 20 year old white section A gelding.

  I bought Snowy in January 1999, six months after losing my hackney cross pony. The reasons I went for a Section A was that I always loved the breed, I had two young daughters to benefit from him and I personally didn't feel that I was replacing my old pony at all.

As he was only 12 hh I couldn't ride him myself so I tried a bit of in hand showing. After that very first show when he came 3rd out of sixteen ponies, I admit I had the bug.

In two years of showing he had won numerous championships and many first rosettes. He was always the talk of the show, having this bright white coat and a very EXTENDED trot !

In 2002, Snowy suffered a really bad bout of Laminitus and we nearly lost him, but he managed to pull through it ! We decided from that day on that he should have light work and enjoy life !

 He is now happily retired on Jadehanna Ranch !.
