Daydreaming Daisy
On the Ranch we have a pretty POA (Pony of
America) named "Daisy" that we bought for Megan.
Daisy is a black/brown leopard spotted, 16 year old registered 48 1/8 (permenant
carded height) POA - Pony of America.
She has an excellent temperament and loves children. She has had 2 very loud
spotted foals and is now here to get Megan back in the saddle !
She will be working on leadline with Megan and will hopefully help her to gain
her confidence after the loss of Trixy.
In 2004 Megan and Daisy won numerous Leadline
competitions together and this has built Megans confidence tremendously.
We are also using Daisy as a kind of 'Aunt
Dais' as she loves the babies and helps us to wean them. She seems to take
them under her wing and guide them in the right direction.
She may be put in foal next year to one of our
resident stallions.

They recently went to the POA Turkey Circuit shows and won a 4th and
6th in the leadline class.
Way to go Megan and Daisy !
